• Blocking Of Ports & IP Address

April 15, 2014 by Sioure Support
  • Dear Valued Clients

Please note during Saturday 22nd to Monday 24th March, the Sioure server was attacked with a massive Spam and DDOS attack. This resulted in latency in sending and receiving of emails. We have eliminated the attack with aggressively blocking various ports on our firewall from specific regions.

Clients are recommended to make email passwords in alphanumeric and special characters. Passwords should not be words found in the dictionary that can be easily compromised.

This massive spam attack has resulted in part of our network being blacklisted by Spam. Any mail sent during Saturday 22nd to Monday 24th March 2014 could have been deleted of the Sioure mail queue.

Please check and confirm with recipients if any intended mail was received. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
