• SPF Server Spam Update

July 24, 2014 by Sioure Support
  • Dear Valued Customers,

We have recently modified our SPF (Sender Policy Framework) Server Settings to prevent frequent emails from spammers. Due to the activation of SPF records checking mode in our domain DNS panel, some mails might be rejected by our mail servers.

A SPF record is a specific type of Domain Name Service record that identifies which mail servers are permitted to send email on behalf of your domain. The purpose of the SPF record is to prevent people from receiving forged emails from spammers. When SPF record is activated into your Domain configuration which is in the form of a formatted TXT record, mail servers receiving emails will be able to detect whether or not an email comes from an authorized mail server.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us

    Respectfully,
